Mission: The YES Mission:
The Youth Empowerment Summit, (YES) is a non-profit organization
providing advocacy, education, life skills, coaching, support and solutions for youth, families and school systems that improve the lives of youth in all of Jacksonville, Florida and Beach communities.
Results: We are working with three schools in the Jacksonville, FL. & Beaches areas, Mayport Middle in Atlantic Beach, New Leaf- School for Change in Neptune Beach and Foundation Academy in Jacksonville, FL. Almost all of our students are either credit deficient or at-risk for graduating . Last year, all our students raised their self-efficacy by an average of 9% and their well-being by 17%.
Target demographics: at-risk youth choose their path for the job market or a path to secondary education for training.

organization or ceased operations.
Its amazing with just a little work with students can create a large opportunity for their special spirit. As adults many of us forget how important it felt being mentored by those who care and want to share in empowering one another. From my vantage point and full on collaboration, we see this and more as students have great stories to share and they develop into better students when given opportunities which traditionally don't occur. Thanks to Youth Empowerment Summit for allowing such dreams to blossom.
