I am president of the Austin Chapter of YTAC. We have four chapters statewide and expanding every year. This non-profit has given me the chance to give back to the cancer community after receiving so much support after my mom's diagnosis in 2006 with leukemia. All of the YTAC chapters are made up of young professionals between the ages of 22 and 45. We raise money, volunteer and bring awareness for local cancer-related organizations. The groups provide a great way to network and help the cancer community in our own cities.

Programs: Young texans against cancer (ytac) is an independent, nonprofit organization comprised of men and women who have been affected by cancer or are seeking to become more actively involved in the cancer community. Our organization is focused on raising funds for local research and support organizations, using our member base to increase awareness of volunteer organizations and helping to educate our community on cancer research.
