Mission: The ymca of lansing serves the community by providing multi-generational programs and services to all people that promote physical, intellectual, social and spiritual growth which offers lifelong benefits. The ymca partners with other community organizations to support children and families by addressing the health, education, and recreation needs. Its programs teach the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility to its members and participants, and the programs provide leadership opportunities for adults and teens so that the entire community is strengthened. It is accessible to all people and provides financial assistance to programs and memberships to those in need. The ymca of lansing serves everyone regardless of gender, age, race, faith, and ethnicity. The y is for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Programs: Health enhancements - develop appreciation for health of mind, body, and spirit as a sacred gift and physical fitness and mental well-being as a desirable condition to be achieved and maintained.
