Our mission is to put christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Our commitment is to be open for all. Ymca's are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, and incomes. Our vision is to provide mission-driven programs, to provide a place for families, and to promote healthy lifestyles.
Programs: These expenses enabled the ymca to achieve their exempt purpose of helping local members develop christian personalties and improve their physical, mental, social, moral, and religious conditions. Activities include organized sports, fitness classes, education classes, aquatics programs, basketball camps, health screenings, cpr & first aid classes, and more. The ymca serves buchanan county, virginia with a pool, gym, classrooms, workout areas, weightroom, cardio room, nusery, and men's and women's health clubs.
