Thousands of volunteers play a key role in our success, working on various committees and advisory boards, coaching sports teams, working on our annual fundraising campaign (so we can provide financial assistance to those in need), helping with special events and more. We offer programs and opportunities for those among us who are older, working for better health, or just trying to maintain. Senior games (for adults over 50), population health programs (blood pressure monitoring, diabetes prevention, geri-fit, moving for better balance, pedal for parkinson's) and livestrong (for cancer survivors) allow anyone an opportunity to honor their mind, body and spirit at the y. In 2017 we received over 285,000 from private donors, local corporations and foundations interested in supporting y programs, departments and branches.
