Causes: Children & Youth, Education, Literacy, Primary & Elementary Schools, Remedial Reading & Encouragement, Youth Development - Citizenship
Mission: The Mishkan Day Camp provides a comprehensive learning & recreational environment to numerous financially underprivileged and disadvantaged youngsters, all throughout the Fairfield County/Southern Connecticut region. Among those children, are youngsters who are either themselves, or have been involved in various situations within the Juvenile Justice system. Additionally, Mishkan serves children who are in families and/or situations where domestic violence/abuse is unfortunately commonplace. Mishkan has already been successful in addressing the needs of these special individuals, and does respectfully request assistance to meet the challenges of the current campaign, by being able to continue to provide services to these deserving youngsters.
