Mission: The Yellowstone Park Foundation works in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources and the visitor experience of Yellowstone National Park. The Foundation is the only nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to this purpose. The Foundation receives no annual government funding; it relies solely on the generosity of private individuals, foundations, and corporations to support important projects and programs -- many of which are beyond the financial capacity of the National Park Service.
