Mission: The ywca of the mohawk valley is a nonsectarian membership organization dedicated to its mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Programs: The ywca mohawk valley's domestic violence sexual violence non-residential services provide 24-hour crisis intervention seven days a week, 365 days a year, to victims and secondary victims of domestic and sexual violence. Services include 24-hour hotline, advocacy/accompaniment through medical, police and court proceedings, short-term counseling, support groups, and mandated domestic violence education classes.
