Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animal-Related, Animals
Mission: The main purpose of Misfits, Mutts and Meows Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is to provide a humane alternative for abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets. We provide medical care, food and love to those we take in. We nurture these animals and provide healthy and adoptable pets to those looking for a new family member. If an animal is deemed unadoptable we provide sanctuary allowing the animal to live out its life in a humane and comfortable fashion. All pets are spay/neutered, vaccinated, tested and microchipped.
Target demographics: cats and dogs in need.
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 60 animals get into their forever homes.
Geographic areas served: most of Oklahoma
Programs: community out reach for adoptions and pet care information. When space is available we take in unwanted, stray and owner surrender animals
