kids is just simply amazing there is ot just a single word to express how greatful I am to this non profit.were do I even begin first off I'm a mom been a hard worker my whole life I have even been a stay at home mom.well something happened in life with my own children and did what I could to help but times got hard and I needed someone to talk to I needed to know turn next.well a learned of a woman named Karen Reynolds Scott and kkids inc.and they were the anwser to my prayers.well a long while after I never thought I'd be now raising my 12 year old grandson and fighting to survive on kidney dialysis.then the holidays slowly approaching and you feel alone trying to figure out how your going to raise another child on a fixed income and no child support.well I was brought up that you work very hard for what you want in life it's been very hard for me to ask for help without feeling like I want to crawl under a rock.well once again kkids Inc. Was my savoir.i just want to let everyone know there is alot of non profits out there but you really should make kkids Inc #1 on you list children are our future please donate to KKIDS INC.THE WORK THE DO IS OUTSTAND.THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND AND IT SHOWS ON THE SMILE OF EVERY CHILDS FACE.i cannot speak highly enough of KKIDS INC. PLEASE GET INVOLVED DONATE OR VOLUNTEER TODAY THERE A CHILD THAT NEEDS YOU.
I was. Going. Through a lot an didn't. No how I was giving my kids Christmas an they was there an helped an made smiles on my. Kids. Face I was depressed an stressed an they came. In an took some of my stress away what they do for family is amazing there really amazing at everything they do I was very happy to have met them an they very kind an help in people. Is amazing. KKIDS is amazing!! They take care of those left behind and bring their light out!! It is amazing what can happen when you open your heart, home, mind, wallet and pocket book. I have seen them at work and they give 200% with everything they do. KKIDS has a dream and a mission to serve, home and protect all of those in need. It is a big vision. But they are working it everyday guided by faith, love and the feedback they get from the community and the individuals that they have helped raise that come back to them as adults living a good life that they would not of had without KKIDS. KKIDS is literally the only charity I give to. I don't always have funds but they are so grateful for anything that I can do to help children and families with children. Sometimes it is the little things that can help. Karen and Bruce are selfless givers in so many ways. I choose them because I see what they do makes a difference in others lives. I see how hard they work and how much love they give. I don't worry about my money going to pay board members or CO'S it is boots on the ground giving and giving more. They matter. I only wish I could do more for them.
Bruce and Karen have been the parents I always needed.. I met them in 2021, and they have always stood by my side whenever I needed.. they are always available day, night, and no matter how far you are, they will always get to you…
They have emotionally, financially support me for 3 years now. One thing about them they never lock their door, just in case one of us need to a safe place. Their home have been a place where I’ve gone to do homework, to have fun, to cry. They will listen to all the crazy stories.. they discipline us when needed, they love us 24/7.. they bedroom is always open for us.. their bio daughter Emily have been a big sister to all of us, a best friend.. Bruce and Karen are the definition of angels. I love them to death..
When Everyone else gave up on my family kids inc gave us hope.
They helped my family keep our home, provided my kids with back to school clothes annd helped my spouse get his car back in the road so he could work. They have not only finical help but gave us emotional support and positive encouragement to stay on the right path.
We are so grateful we found them.
Bruce and Karen have been lifesavers to so many children...selflessly sacrificing their own comfort to aid those in need! We've known them and their heart for kids for 20 years! They are worthy to be trusted!
I have known Karen and Bruce Scott since 1991 and have watched their family take in dozens and dozens of youth that are at risk. They sacrifice their time and their money helping so many children in their neighborhood. When they find out about other families with children struggling to find a motel room or an apartment to get off the street, they have stepped in to make it happen. I see daily post from Karen advocating these needs and making them be fulfilled. When I was struggling as a single grandfather raising my five grandchildren alone, they helped me out with a cash donation to help us. I have donated furniture and miscellaneous items to their ministry of Kids Inc and they have picked up the items and sold them or income or donated them to families in need of furniture, beds, mattresses, lamps, linens and beddings, etc. They have changed so many lives and rescued so many children and they do not receive funds from the state of Florida while they do for these many many children what their parents should be doing. They provide them food and shelter, safe accommodations that are drug-free, and most of all love and attention that every child wants. They live in a small rental house in North Fort Myers with a dozen family members crammed in and they desperately need to be provided with a large home in a safe neighborhood with a yard for these children and their friends to play in and not on a very busy dangerous street. I have been praying with them for many years that God will touch people's hearts and the home will be provided for them because they sacrifice and do what honestly I think no one else that I know or have met would ever do. Me raising my five grandkids pales in comparison to what they do for three times the amount of kids.
