Mission: Worthy garden club is a non-profit organization based in bend, oregon whose mission is to promote hop education and the creation of a local network of informed growers. We host monthly events that bring together growers of all knowledge and experience levels, working to foster certral oregon's growing interest in hops and create an atmosphere of applied learning and open discussion.
Programs: The organization has only one program, which is decscribed part iii, line 1. Accomplishments include establishment of a hops growing and experimentation facility using volunteer labor, hops educational programs, and planting of expermental varieties of hops. The hops growing facility is available to all visitors to the brewery (not operated by this organization) adjacent to the green houses that are growing the hops. The organization sponsers a number of educational events during the year including tours of hops farms and lectures on hop economics, etc.
