Mission: World orphans vision is to empower the church to care for orphans - until they all have homes! We equip, inspire, and mobilize the church to care for orphans and vulnerable children. Churches engaged. Children restored. Communities transformed by the gospel of christ.
Programs: We are committed to seeing orphans and families cared for wholistically (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) in families through our home based care initiative. Ministry teams from local churches mentor and disciple families that have taken in orphans, providing love, care, and the hope of the gospel. U. S. Churches come alongside an international church to form church-to-church partnerships built on relationship, as together we work to care for orphans. Ministry to refugees continued in northern iraq, with additional micro-refugee camps opening and the operation of a school to educate refugee children. During the period 1/1/2017 - 12/31/2017, world orphans helped to fund 56 projects in 12 countries for the support of orphans and families. It is estimated that 15,000 orphans, windows, and refugees were impacted through world orphans' programs.
