A true love story! Not only did I fall in love with "my" child over 25 years ago, but I immediately felt like family in this wonderful organization as I walked through a year of pregnancy and labor pains! My main case manager has entertained us in her home several times (Susan and Bill Johnson) and I have met up with others at gatherings, meetings, camp, and the festivities of meeting the President of Romania who visited in Seattle. WACAP can never be loved enough for their most important role in bringing me a child to make me a mother.

WACAP, Aurelia, and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year! This agency has brought as much joy as the actual adoption in 1993. I was introduced to several employees during the application, but Susan Johnson was our gal who "got 'er done!" We have visited with her several times in beautiful Washington. One fall we flew out to meet the then-President of Romania. Another summer we attended camp for families of adoptees. Most recently we made a wonderful trip back to Romania through the Ties program. Other connections have dotted the last 25+ years. What a happy memory and friend WACAP has been through the years.
