Programs: Worcester roots' core staff and office operations provide support to our developing cooperatives and others in the cooperative and new economy movements, including workshops, outreach, research, and administration.

diggers landscaping cooperative provides a variety of yard and garden services specializing in permaculture. We are committed to working closely with homeowners to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable spaces that fit into the client's lifestyle.

woorides cooperative has brought worcester, ma its first ever cycle rickshaw service. We bring a sustainable mode of transportation for the city's rising population and new level of character to worcester's cityscape.

with south worcester neighborhood center, the city of worcester, and other partners, nuestro huerto developed camp street community garden at a city park in 2015, operated through 2017. Nuestro huerto was also a member community farm on southgate st in worcester through 2016 before we helped the owner transition the property to hosting three farmers from nepal on the site to provide for themselves, their families and communities. Our director started a new member community farm in leicester, not part of nuestro/roots.

greenvitalize urban growers and healing garden are committed to food justice, urban agriculture, education and entrepreneurship. We are creating a local food cluster, training gardeners, and using grants to equip a donated greenhouse.

access consulting services is worker/owners, interpreters and translators who are based in the target communities and provide a translation service that fits locally with the communities they serve. After incubation by roots since 2016, access became an independent cooperative in june 2017.

future focus media cooperative produces high quality video, photography and audio, while training youth in tv and film production with the goals of building youth's job skills and creating powerful stories. Ffm is the principle founder of a new film festival: central mass film festival. Ffm incorporated as an employee cooperative in april 2015 and setup its own account, but some of their expenses and income for joint projects continued to be processed through roots' bank account. Income and expenses for the new corporation processed through ffm's new account is not included in this report.
