Programs: Wco specializes in providing hud and neighborworks certified counseling servies; predominantly focused on pre and post purchase home buying and financial literacy clubs - serving well over 12,000 clients. Since 2005, wco has operated middle tennessee's volunteer income tax assistance (vita) "super site" and roving "mobile site" assiting over 23,000 low-income individuals. In 2017, our site completed a total of 32,992 free federal tax returns and brought back $4,517097 in total federal refunds and over $1,570,076 in earned income tax credits. Through our services clients receive asset-building resources such as "second change" savings and checking accounts to enable them to use their returns wisely.

housing program - wco has developed a specific expertise in developing, building and managing shared living residences. Today, wco owns 509 shared living units, of which 217 are for disabled and/or senior individuals able to live independently, and another 292 units are intermediate care facilities (icf/iid) that provide food.
