Mission: Women's health and family planning association of texas ("whfpt") is dedicated to the belief that all texans deserve the right to determine the number, timing and spacing of their children through access to affordable, confidential, high-quality family planning services.
Programs: Through its network of family planning agencies, whfpt provided comprehensive title x reproductive health services to men, women, and adolescents at approximately 100 sites throughout texas. The subrecipient agencies included hospital districts, public health departments, medical schools, community action agencies, federally qualified health centers, planned parenthood affiliates, and other non-profit health care organizations. In the fourth year of its title x project, whfpt, through its subrecipient agencies, provided title x funded family planning and related services to over 183,000 low-income and uninsured texans.
