Mission: Women''s Clinic & Family Counseling Center promotes women''s health and well-being by providing affordable reproductive and gynecological services and therapeutic counseling in a nurturing atmosphere of individual attention and respect.

Programs:   We provide two distinctly different yet complimentary health programs. One is a medical clinic, and the other a mental health/therapy program.   We treat the whole person, both mind and body.

Our medical clinic provides treatment to women, men and adolescents who are seeking reproductive health services (GYN). We do annual exams, paps and mammograms, ultrasounds, provide birth control and family planning, pregnancy testing, STD testing and treatment and HIV testing as well as treatment for a variety of infections. In addition we have a clinical specialist who provides peri-menopausal evaluation & treatment and hormone replacement therapy, including natural hormones. We provide all the necessary follow up procedures to any abnormal test results. These safety net services are provided either free thru Medical programs or on a low cost sliding scale fee schedule. We’re also providing ultrasounds (abdominal cavity screening for abnormal mass detection), Colposcopy’s (a follow up cell collection process for cervical cancer testing) and LEEP’s (surgical procedure which removes cancer cells from cervix) to other community clinics who do not have either the equipment or expertise to provide these procedures to their patients. This collaboration is vital to the patient. 

Our counseling program is designed to meet the needs of individuals - men and women, couples, adolescents and families dealing with a myriad of life stressors. Common counseling issues are depression, anxiety, relationships and parenting challenges, career issues and more. We have support groups and workshops and provide these services on a low cost sliding scale fee schedule. The therapy is provided by interns skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches who are supervised by licensed Marriage & Family Therapists.

Within the teaching program itself, these masters interns develop a close group dynamic, supporting one another, learning together and have the advantage of being trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches.  By keeping therapy client centered – based solely on the needs of the individual person seeking help – both therapist and client benefit.  The therapist by having well rounded educational opportunities and being introduced to much of what the field has to offer; and the client by receiving treatment tailored to their specific needs as opposed to treatment through only one therapeutic approach.
