Mission: The women's center, inc. Supports victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence in alger and marquette counties through programs that protect, educate, advocate, councel and empower (peace).
Programs: Domestic violence program provided shelter, counseling, support, outreach, and awareness of domestic violence.
community support program operates a resale shop to provide clothing and goods to the clients of the domestic violence shelter and sales to the general public.
sexual assault program provided outreach, counseling, education, supportive and resource advocacy along with advocay from the sexual assault response team and planning for long term safety.
