It was my first internship and womenite is the one who provide me this chance, I was thinking that it might be quite difficult but other interns help me a lot they are very supportive and they like oxygen mask at space for me and thank womanite for providing me this opportunity.

My Experience as a New Joiner at Womenite:-
Joining Womenite as a volunteer intern has been an eye-opening and rewarding experience. In my role, I will be involved in organizing educational workshops on gender sensitivity and respectful relationships for schools and communities. I will also be contributing to awareness campaigns, creating social media content and engaging the public on critical issues like gender-based violence and women’s rights.
Additionally, I will be participating in community outreach programs, supporting initiatives in women’s health and economic empowerment. This experience has significantly enhanced my skills in public speaking, project management, and teamwork, and deepened my commitment to gender equality.

This is a outstanding organization raising the neglected issues related to women. People often ignore these like need of sanitary pads , cyber bullying, skinny shamming and so much more, we really need this kind of organization to educate people about the dozens of problems which women face and we must not ignore their problems instead we should discuss these things in open instead of creating it a taboo.
It is an amazing organization working for unsaid issues and creating awareness based on that so that people should talk about it and work for it that is...work basically for the wellness of society. I have recently joined this organisation and they created multiple things related to feminism and talking about it on all social platforms creating awareness even in these hard times. All the members in this NGO are determined and ready to do there bit in order to have a better society, where no one is discriminated on any basis. They don't only preach rather work hard to make a difference. In the Covid-19 lockdown the organization has worked and helped a lot many people especially have worked to provide menstrual kit (pads) to women who weren't able to purchase it or use it due to various factors.
Me and my team volunteered with Womenite for the social project titled Child sexual abuse. We got immense learning from team Womenite which helped us to evolve to a great extent plus we were able to impart our knowledge and help children regarding this issue. It was fun and quite a learning experience working with Womenite.

All the people who work at Womenite are a family and collectively work for better. I learned a lot from all the other interns.
I am working as a workshop facilitator intern in this NPO since January'19. My overall experience with Womenite was good. I have learnt a lot from here and have become even more practical, compassionate, confident, and empathetic person. It has taught me think out of the box taking in account to everybody's needs, wants and availability. From here I actually learnt what team work and putting in efforts actually means and how selflessly we can by putting some efforts bring smile on someone's face. One more thing I like about Womenite is that it broadly covers 3 main issues, but also tries to make sensitization about every issue taking place and even allows every department member to voluntarily take part in it. It is not only about menstrual hygiene, gender inequality, child sexual abuse, but even more than that. All the things are covered. The tweetchat it organises is awesome! It really helps in someway. The best thing about Womenite is flexibility and the feel at home vibe. And because of too much flexibility the worst thing about Womenite is Organisation, Planning & Plan Execution because of which some times things become haphazard and people then avoid taking initiative due to which ultimately they are blamed and backstabbed. Overall it's a great experience, but few things as I mentioned above needs to be resolved. Otherwise Womenite is not only a NPO, but an emotion!
