Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Single Parent Agencies
Mission: Many single mothers who are working fail to qualify for many government benefit programs yet still fall incredibly short of providing adequately for their children. Whether it is a temporary situation, a displaced homemaker now on her own with her children, a domestic violence situation, or whatever situaition has brought them to our doorstep, we aim to help ANY single mother who may have fallen upon hard times and or have contintually just been "denied" other economic, educational or other types of assistance because they are working and thus do not qualify for assistance, but really do! We hope to offer these "forgotten" single mothers assistance in many forms from educational scholarships, free clothing for themselves and their families, gift cards for various items, educational forums to educate their minds and uplift their spirits.
