Causes: Eating Disorders & Addictions, Mental Health
Mission: WithAll empowers adults with the tools they need to help children and young people foster a positive body image and relationship with food. As a 501(c)(3) organization serving a national audience, we also provide grants for those with financial need who also need intensive treatment to recover from an eating disorder. In partnership with donors and businesses, we’re on a mission to change cultural perspectives on health related to body and food, one step at a time.
Results: 2024 was an incredible year for WithAll, thanks to the dedication and generosity of partners like you. Together, we made a lasting impact: • 1,343,304 kids reached with messages of hope and support • 74,410 kids directly impacted by our programs and resources • 1,268,894 free guide downloads helping families and educators foster healthier conversations • 51,986 social media views and impressions, spreading awareness further than ever • 196 Recovery Support Program grants awarded to those fighting for recovery • 52 Recovery For All grants ensuring financial barriers don’t stand in the way of healing
Programs: The emily program foundation reached out to thousands of people during 2012, providing more than 150 presentations. Those people included individuals and families who have someone in their life with an eating disorder; those who are in recovery; treatment professionals; educators; students; media; and the general public. Foundation representatives educated people about the devastating effects of eating disorders on individuals, families and the broader community; they provided information about early intervention and prevention measures, and offered hope and support for recovery. Achievements include:family/friend support group: free support groups offered weekly to provide support to those whose loved ones have eating disorders. Presentations, conferences & exhibits: approximately 150 individual presentations and exhibits aimed at reaching hundreds of health care professionals, educators, students, employers and others. Advocacy: the emily program foundation representatives, including several volunteers, traveled to washington, d. C. In 2012 to educate policy makers about eating disorders and discussed federal legislation that addresses eating disorder education and prevention, treatment, and research. In addition, the emily program foundation advocated at the state level before administrative agencies and representatives to prevent cuts in funding for programs that serve people with mental illness and to ensure eating disorders are considered part of the essential health benefits under the affordable health care act.
