I'm honored as a Veteran to serve other Veterans through the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation. The Foundation, during my decade of service, has worked tirelessly to respond to Veterans' financial crisis often in less than a business day.
The Foundation has, since 1998, provided acute financial assistance to Veterans and families of Veterans so they had the means to stay in their homes or apartments without fear of eviction or children going to bed hungry, or the utilities being shut off, and assisting in repairing Veterans vehicles so they had safe and reliable transportation to and from work.
This Foundation has no hype they say what they are going to do and do it quietly and meaningfully. This Foundation is a group of concerned Veterans and those who care for our Veterans serving Veterans and their families.

Mission: Our mission is to provide access to any and all services needed by Wisconsin's Veterans. The Foundation is committed to ensuring the honor and dignity of every Wisconsin Veteran who has served and protected Wisconsin and in the United States of America.
Target demographics: The Foundation provides Veterans with assistance to successfully transition from service to society.
Direct beneficiaries per year: During the past year the Foundation has provided $2,375 in acute financial assistance to Wisconsin Veterans for rent, utilities, and maintenance.
Geographic areas served: The Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, Inc. is a statewide Veteran Service Organization with a primary focus on Veterans residing in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Programs: The Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, Inc. provides: ✥ Acute financial assistance to Wisconsin Veterans, ✥ Career and employment services using a proprietary online program which can be used alone or in concert with other online career and employment programs or with a Local Veteran's Employment Representative (LVER), a representative from a Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP), or career counselor in a One Stop Career Center or post-secondary school's career center, ✥ Programs and workshops designed by and for Veterans focusing on successfully transitioning from military service to civilian society with an emphasis on career planning and employment, and ✥ Podcast series (2019) focusing on Veteran issues, tools to aid with the identified issues, and local, regional, and national resources.
