Wisconsin dialysis also focuses on home patient training with an eye to encourage fewer hospitalizations in the future. Wisconsin dialysis services are governed by cms (medicare) and must meet a set of clinical standards established through the quality improvement program (qip). Patient data is reported on a regular basis to cms.
