Mission: To provide hope, education, research & support, free of charge to anyone touched by cancer. Wings programs and services help patients, their families, caregivers and friends year round. Wings seeks to restore the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Wings empowers cancer patients so they are able to take an active part in their treatment and recovery.
Programs: Patient & family support - program allows patients and family members the opportunity to meet with program coordinators for education and support.
volunteer program - comprised of more than 200 cancer survivors, their families and friends. They assist patients in local cancer clinics and hospitals providing comfort measures and tangible evidence of hope.
exercise and health - a program which provides assistance to cancer patients in need of various exercise and health classes.
wings offers many other programs such as the komen project, pastoral care, support groups, wings gallery, formfitting and lymphedema to name a few. All programs are offered free of charge to anyone touched by cancer.
