Programs: Psychiatric residential treatment care - windwood is licensed to provide psychiatric residential treatment care which includes food, shelter, and psychiatric care to 12 boys between the ages of 6 and 16. Each child is assessed individually and his length of stay is determined by his needs and progress in therapy. The general therapeutic approach in the residence is to assist each resident in identifying core issues, resolving conflict, and developing new attitudes and coping skills. Psychiatric care services include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as different forms of experiential therapies.
residential group care - windwood is licensed to provide residential group care which includes food, shelter, and attentive care to 15 boys between the ages of 6 and 16. Attentive care services include education, therapeutic recreation, behavior management, social skills development, and family interventions.
out-patient and clinic services - windwood opened windwood family services, an outpatient counseling center in mount pleasant, south carolina, in 2011 to provide services including family group conferencing, individual counseling sessions, and behavioral modification. Windwood provides various outreach programs to the community.
