Mission: To assist windsor ct residents with meeting basic needs.
Programs: Windsor food bank the food bank provides supplemental food dry canned goods, fruits, vegetables meat for low-income windsor residents. The food bank is coordinated by windsor social services staff volunteers.
windsor fuel bank the goal of the fuel bank is to ensure no one is cold goes without heat or goes without electricity. Grants are awarded to households after they have exhausted their state benefits.
windsor basic needs fund the basic needs fund helps residents with every-day necessities which may include basic needs such as medical care and public transportation.
project santa the program helps resident families suffering through difficult economic times, to have a nice christmas. The goal of the program is to ensure that no child goes without.

weekend wheels hat pilot program started in 2 of windsors elementary schools. Each friday, children on free and/or reduced lunch receive backpacks on wheels which contain snacks and other supplemental food for the weekend.
