Mission: Wimberley valley cert supports hays county fire, ems, sheriff office and office of emergency mgt. In 2014 cert was called out nine(9) times to support fire fighting efforts for rehab. Community service in 2014 consisted of fire suppression, safety and first aid capabilities for monthly market days, butterfly day, wimberley square arts fest, and the wimberley merchants assn. Holiday event. Displayed equipment at the wimberley disaster prepardness fair. At the annual national night out event, cert was represented at numerous neighborhoods providing home emergency management information.
