Causes: Education, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: The organization supports the students, parents and faculty of woodrow wilson public elementary school.
Programs: Assorted curricular and other programs - provided funding for various resources and activities which enhanced the schools core curriculum, such as assemblies, a visiting author, a subscription to an online reading program, library resources, start up funds for each classroom at the beginning of the school year, the school newspaper,fun food days for the children on mondays and fridays, and various activites for the 5th grade graduating class such as a yearbook and class portraits.
wilson gifts - supported various improvements for the school that would otherwise not be possible. Examples for tax year ended june 2018 include funding for playground enhancements as well as faculty kitchen and classroom updates. These gifts are made at the end of the school year from the net income resulting from all program and fundraising efforts.
steam - helped administer the science, technology, engineering, art and music extracurricular classes which were held after school once a week for two six week sessions.
