Mission: The wilmington youth rowing association (wyra) is a not for profit organization that uses the sport of rowing as a vehicle to raise self-esteem and teach self-discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship, and team work to a diverse population of area youth. Wyra staff work closely with rowers and their families to prepare them for the college application process and to ensure their success academically.
Programs: Competitive crew is the most competitive program within the wyra organization. They have races in both the fall and spring seasons.
