I have personally used the services of WJCC CAA. This organization has the most wonderful people working for it. The staff genuinely cares and when they refer you to other organizations they follow-up to make sure the organization is serving you and that you too also follow through. I Needed help when my family was homeless and one of my children was very sick. The community services coordinator really advocated on my behalf and helped to find the resources we needed and permanent housing for my family. I can not thank her enough. I feel like my sanity was saved do this agencies help.

The WJCC Community Action Agency is a top notch organization that really helps clients, by empowering clients with real tools to improving their lives. They also promote community improvement from the works of those who live in the community. They do a lot with limited funding. They are the people who know how to feed a 100 people well with one chicken. The really maximize the use of their dollars, stretching so all can benefit from it's use. They have multiple programs: Head Start, drop out prevention programs, family literacy, Legal services for low-income, community development organizarion, community food gardens, and many more. The agency is comprehensive in the way it offers services. I donate as often as I can and I encourage others to do so. Also, volunteer if you can. Candice
