Mission: William Cross Academy addresses a much-neglected aspect of juvenile delinquency, namely early-intervention. By addressing the presenting behavioral problems between the ages of 8-13, the rate of success is largely increased over waiting until adolescence. As a Christian 5-day-a-week program, students are taught character-building applications and principles such as respecting authority, honesty, self-control, kindness, and following instructions. The training also provides for solid academic improvement that allows students to advance at their own pace. In addition, parents/guardians can receive week-long seminars on parenting techniques which provides a holistic approach to student growth.
