I have had a wonderful career as a wildland firefighter and seen the amazing things the foundation does for fallen and injured firefighters. It's not simply throwing money at those that are hurting, they provide emotional support to all. Families, children, fellow firefighters. They will be there immediately after the tragedy and for as many years necessary to do what is needed for the wildland fire community.
