's community health improvement program was established to help fund community health improvement efforts within whitley memorial hospital's service area. The hospital sets aside up to 10 percent of its net income annually to fund community health initiatives. By partnering with community organizations, these funds are used to encourage healthier lifestyles among the citizens of whitley county and kosciusko county with a special emphasis on addressing the health issues identified in the community health needs assessment. Primary health care/access:whitley memorial hospital, inc. Features 30 beds with all private rooms. Emergency medical care, obstetric care and a medical-surgical unit are available as well as lab, multiple modality imaging, surgical services, sleep disorders lab, outpatient infusion center and physical rehabilitation including massage therapy. An attached medical office building provides convenient, easy access for patients to receive care from family and specialty physicians. In 2016, a 90,000 square foot outpatient facility was opened in warsaw, indiana, to provide excellent care for kosciusko county. Parkview warsaw services include a free-standing emergency department with ten rooms, two of which are equipped for trauma patients. There is an imaging department which provides diagnostic radiology, magnetic resonance (mr), computed tomography (ct), ultrasound, 3-d digital mammography and dexa bone density scanning services. The facility also includes laboratory, physical rehabilitation and massage therapy as well as primary care and specialty physician offices.
