Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Keep abreast of the laws and regulations affecting the deer raising industry and to influence the legislative process to benefit the industry. This will be done through the use of a lobbyist for the state legislature and communications with members and other industry groups in other states. To educate the corporation's members concerning good management and marketing practices and the latest deer health and disease information. This will be done through regular seminars and other meetings. To serve as a voice for the industry on appropriate boards.
Programs: The organization is keeping abreast of the laws and regulations affecting the deer raising industry and attempting to influence the legislative process to benefit the industry. This is being done through the use of a lobbyist for the state legislature as well as through communications with members and other industry groups in other states. The organization is currently educating members concerning good management and marketing practices as well as keeping them updated on the latest deer health and disease information. This is being done through regular seminars and other meetings. The organization has served as a voice for the industry on appropriate boards.

We are working with legislators in attempting to influence the legislative process through their lobbying efforts. We are keeping members educated through seminars and meetings. Some of our members have also served on an advisory board of the ohio department of agriculture.
