Membership donations are a key component f the reveue needs of the Trust.  Funds in this area supplement the normal operating costs associated with managing five buildings.  Those buildings include The Palace Theatre, the Train Station at Greensburg, James/Stark Building, the Union Trust Buidling and the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center.  Current membership levels average $95,000 per year.  Long term success would be a 10% increase or $104,500 per year.

I am proud to say that I have been a volunteer for the Westmoreland Cultural Trust for 10 years. I believe that WCT strives to uphold their mission statement for enhancing the cultural and economic development of Westmoreland County through a variety of venues. The Palace Theatre shows, events at Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, fundraisers throughtout the year like TGIS (Thank Goodness its Summer - Palace courtyard), Bocci and Fashion Show (GGCC) and their signature fundraiser, Hollywood Party at the Palace (this years 10th on Feb 28, 2015). WCT has a caring board of trustees, and a tremendous staff that makes volunteering a joy! "Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart!"
