Programs: Financial support - westminster canterbury foundation nurtures philanthropy for the needs of westminster canterbury richmond in continued response to our joint faith-based mission of providing excellent life care for seniors. Westminster canterbury raises financial support primarily for the fellowship program, which provides financial assistance for seniors in need to receive services. A total of 113 people received this need-based financial support in fy 2017, through a combination of annual fundraising and dedicated endowments held by both westminster canterbury foundation and the westminster canterbury corporation. (continued on schedule o)fellowship support is offered to new residents with demonstrated financial need as well as to existing residents whose resources have waned. Residents that consistently adhere to the fellowship program's guidelines will never be asked to leave due to an inability to pay.

program support - the foundation provides funding for memory support therapies, pastoral care, wellness programs, a wide range of studio arts and theater arts programs, workforce development, funding for leadership and innovation in senior services, and supplemental funding and scholarships for our on-site child development center that features intergenerational programming. Our overall goal is to allow seniors residing at westminster canterbury richmond to live life well as they age in a vital and dynamic environment. Approximately 900 seniors reside at westminster canterbury richmond.

advanced training - the foundation provides funding for advanced training for clinical and non-clinical staff in order to enhance health care for all who are served in our skilled nursing health center. Funding is also provided for additional caregiving services that further enhance the level of care given to those residing in our health center.
