Mission: To organize oral health efforts as outlined in the west virginia oral health plan. To support and promote oral health in west virginia's children and adults by facilitating and coordinating collaborations statewide and at the community level.
Programs: Community water flouridation - strengthen community water systems to optimally fluoridate water with either new or replaced equipment through funding and technical assistance. Over 10,700 citizens served to date.
rethink your drink - a statewide campaign to raise awareness about the negative health effects of consuming too much sugar.
dental sealants - deliver sealants to children who are less likely to receive private dental care through 222 participating schools.
