Mission: Section 1 the corporation is organized to provide the residents of west hawaii recreational facilities, and open spaces for social, educational, sports and health program and services; and to plan, design, and construct recreational facilities for west hawaii communities. In addition, to establish, implement and manage the charitable, religious, educational, and scientific programs as part of its program objectives. Section 2. The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively as a non-profit corporation for charitable, educational or scientific purposes within the meaning of chapter 414d of the hawaii revised statutes, the hawaii nonprofit corporations act and section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended.
Programs: West hawaii parks and athletic corporation has managed and accomplish to coordinate and engage the county of hawaii to promote the parks status and seek the county of hawaii release of entitlement funding for the purpose of conducting the environmental assessment and preliminary engineering reports
