Programs: Committee implemented a program called p. R. I. D. E. (promoting restoration in a distressed environment). Pride added beauty and value to midland, it is a beautification program that boasts several landscaped areas that are maintained throuehout the summer and fall months. The program utilizes underemployed residents of the target area to maintain these sites, this helps to instill a sense of pride and self-worth in many of the residents
