Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Well Baby Center believes that every family deserves a place to feel supported — especially in the beginning. By strengthening family connections, healing past traumas, and providing social support, we help families and communities thrive.
Results: Over the last decade Well Baby Center has established itself as a reliable community resource, providing affordable mental health care and supportive services to low- to moderate-income families. Vulnerable and at-risk populations require a higher level of care, with the goal being to interrupt multi-generational transmissions of family dysfunction and replace that cycle with the fulfillment of potential in the child. In response to the growing mental health crisis emerging from the pandemic, Well Baby Center has expanded its reach to offer virtual counseling and parenting support to families throughout Los Angeles. Additionally, Well Baby Center provides intensive training in maternal and family mental health care to pre-licensed marriage and family therapists. Grants and donations enable Well Baby Center to provide vital mental health care and supportive services at no cost to individuals and families in need, regardless of financial or documented status.
