Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: Our mission is to provide a christ-centered educational environment where children are equipped for lives of christian leadership and service. With a goal to glorify god, we emphasize the spiritual development of our students - striving for excellence in academics, citizenship, athletics, community service, and every other aspect of the educational process.
Programs: Academic program - wcs provides a challenging, college-prep academic program that includes technology training, foreign language, and fine arts. Self-discipline and clear, concise expectations are emphasized in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Faculty members provide extra help as needed, and tutoring can be arranged. The bible is part of the daily curriculum and all grades participate in chapel services twice a week. Wcs teaches from the perspective of a biblical christian worldview. A well- rounded education is more than just reading, writing and arithmetic; it includes the knowledge that we exist to serve god and reflect him in our daily lives. Wcs teaches students to be self-disciplined and to have a strong sense of responsibility. Wcs promotes mental and emotional maturity of its students by teaching them how to serve both god and man withing their community. Our school hosts about 280 students.
hot lunches - our campus offers an elementary hot lunch at 4. 50 for five days a week, and the secondary lunches at 5. 50. 50% of our students take advantage of the hot lunches.
athletic program - wcs offers the following: varsity volleyball, jh volleyball, jh football, elementary soccer, cheerleading, varsity basketball, jv basketball, jh basketball, elementary basketball, tennis, golf, and track. 50% of our body is involved in sports at any given time.
