Causes: Charter Schools, Education, Secondary & High Schools
Mission: Watershed high school is a charter public school serving students in grades 9-12 in the twin cities metropolitan region. The watershed community cultivates creativity in every class and every student, balanced with promoting compassion through service.
Programs: Watershed high school serves the twin cities metro region with an arts-integrated liberal arts curriculum including experimental community- based learning opportunities. Watershed had about 57 students during 2016 with a majority attending college within two years of graduation. A majority of watershed's students are at-risk youth, a large percentage of whom require special education services. For many students, watershed is the first high school to value their differences, creativity and expression.
