Mission: To operate the public library in the town of washington.
Programs: The washington library association operated gibbs library in washington, maine. The library sponsored 102 childrens, teens and adult programs attended by 1,096 people. Programs included children and teen summer reading programs, author visits and science programs among others. Nearly 10,000 items were borrowed from the librarys collection of print, digital and electronic materials collection. In addition the library internet services were used extensively by library patrons including nearly 1,000 sessions using the librarys public computers.
