I love that when I call Warmline, I am met with someone who truly has been in my shoes. Everyone who works there has a child with special needs, so they really do "get it". They understand the grief that my friends and family don't quite get. I wish they had more support groups and workshops though. The past few months they have had some really get play groups out at parks and a pizza place where I am able to meet up with other parents and my child is able to be around other children. I hope they continue to do those in the future. The Placer County office is really great and have been there for me when I had questions about the best way to advocate for the needs of my child. I had no idea what to expect when I called, but I am glad I did. I'm sad I have to be a member of the Warmline family, but I am so glad they are there.

Mission: Our mission is to provide information, education, and support to promote and strengthen the foundation of families and children with special needs to face the challenges of the present and create new dreams for the future.
Results: Each year we provide information, referral, and support to approximately 1000 families in 6 counties.
Target demographics: Families of children with special needs birth to 22.
