Mission: To foster community enrichment through educational and cultural experiences. This is accomplished by enhancing and interpreting its historic and environmentally sensitive properties and by utilizing state-of-the-art technology for educational programs.
Programs: Educational and cultural center programs - by enhancing and interpreting its properties, the organization creates educational and cultural experiences that integrate history, art, theater, music, science and technology. The organization owns three (3) historic properties that are listed on the state and national register for historic places. The properties are open to the general public for onsite programs and distance learning programs. Over 70 multidisciplinary educational programs and performances are offered year-round for children ages three years through adults and senior citizens. The organization also works with both public and private schools and include a range of socio-economic statuses, including underserved communities as well as home schooled children. More than 18,000 people attend the programs and performances as well as many exhibitions, lectures and senior citizen workshops throughout the year.
