Ive been at Walk on Water Ministries for about 8 years now, volunteering, working, loving on their beautiful animals and working with all the wonderful kids. Walk on Water has made such an impact on my life and helped shape the person I have become. I love serving alongside of all the dedicated volunteers and staff to help change so many lives, it is a true joy to watch a child bond with a horse!

My son has autism and really benefits from riding horses and receiving Equine Assisted Therapy. We have been visiting Walk on Water for the past few months now and have had an outstanding experience with all of the staff involved, from the director to the trainers and volunteers. They are very caring and always ensure that my son has the best possible experience. I highly recommend this organization.

Everyone involved in this ministry has such a heart for making people feel good about themselves and providing a great experience with the animals. Anyone coming to Walk on Water becomes part of the family and is cared about and loved on. Providing horseback riding lessons was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She was 4 at the time of starting the lessons in January. Not only is she experiencing lessons with the horses and trainers, she is able to interact and play with other children who have special needs and this gives her a more rounded and accepting view of the world. This is a great family to be a part of!

Walk on Water ministries is a wonderful place where where kids can go and get help with all kinds of physical/emotional issues. The interaction between the horses and special needs kids is amazing! I have been friends with the director for 30 years and I can assure you that the helping the children with whatever issues they may have is job one.

Walk on Water Ministries, aka..Walk on Water Equine Assisted Therapy is an outstanding and dedicated organization. The entire staff is caring and attentive to all ages of riders who come to experience the joy and love of riding and learning about horses. I have personally watched over the years, many children smile and experience immense joy when up on a horse. Whether the rider has special needs or not; the horses are gentle and easy to ride for all levels. The staff is attentive to safety at all times.
My daughter started riding and attending the summer camp when she was 5 years old, before a family trip to Montana, just so that she would be more comfortable on horseback. She has continued to attend every summer camp/bible study for the past 7 years. She looks forward to riding the same horses and to meeting all the new rescued horses that have been helped by those associated with Walk on Water Ministries. She has learned not only to love riding, but also has learned about the work and dedication involved in the care of these animals. She wants to share what she has learned by volunteering with the organization. This example speaks volumes that someone who grew up with the services of this organization, now wants to volunteer there.
I would highly recommend this organization as a safe and secure place with a staff dedicated to promoting the love of horsemanship at all levels. I pray that this organization continues to provide the community with a symbol of God's love through the use of their horses.
