I have fostered with Wagon Tails Farm Rescue for several years now and I can honestly say that the group of fosters and volunteers are the best! WTFR is dedicated to finding the perfect home for each and every animal that comes through their doors. The director and adoption coordinator are amazing at placing each animal into the foster homes that will be best suited for them. Any and all questions that fosters have are always answered, and we love to keep in touch with adopters, especially in the transitional phase, so that if they have any questions or concerns they know they are able to reach out and have a support system. Ultimately, we all want what is best for the adopters and the animals.
Additionally, after fostering for a while, and many dogs through my doors, my original dog bonded with another dog, a former mama dog, and they became inseparable. I adopted the mama dog as a companion for my original dog. To this day they are still inseparable. Sometimes fostering provides you with the perfect pet you didn't know you needed, or allows you to find the perfect fit for your household.
A great cause led by great people. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They all work hard to find the best placement and care for the animals they take in. I fostered a mom and her 8 puppies until they could be separated. Once weaned, Wagon Tails ensured the pups went to great fosters and then on to loving forever families.
I originally adopted a dog from Wagons tails. After 4 months of trying to make things work, we decided he wasn’t a good fit. The rescue was amazing at helping the pup find a better suited home. In the end I ended up becoming a foster for another dog, who I am happy to say is the best addition to my family. Through everything Geri and Steve have been amazing with providing food and advice. I’m so thankful to have found Wagin Tails and the amazing volunteers. It’s been great being part of something that helps so many.
