My family are fosters for Waddle on Inn Rescue and we have enjoyed being able to provide a safe place for many ducks over the past few years. It's been a joy to see how Julie runs her rescue, she is so passionate about every case and every animal that she comes across. This has also been an awesome opportunity for myself and my family to learn even more about ducks and how to care for them better than before.

I volunteer and am now a foster location for Waddle On Inn Rescue. This rescue goes above and beyond to help, rescue, care for, and educate. Julie's knowledge of waterfowl is extensive and she never gives up giving every living creature that she comes in contact with the utmost care and chance to live a long, happy life. I am proud to be a part of the volunteer network for this rescue. I have helped rescue, transport, feed, house, etc., the waterfowl that Julie takes in, giving her an opportunity to help more animals. I have participated in finding adoptive homes and educating the public on domestic waterfowl and how to help them because I learned from Julie and Waddle On Inn Rescue.

We first met Julie Wootten of Waddle on Inn after discovering a flock of geese that had been dumped at a public boat ramp. I witnessed them being hit with rocks, fishing rods and oars. The poor things just wanted to be fed by the humans, as they had been previously. I called animal control and the DNR, who offered no help. I found out about Waddle on Inn and contacted Julie about the danger the poor creatures faced. She swooped in like a superhero and saved those geese. For twenty-eight years, I had been living three miles from a park that was a dumping ground for unwanted pet ducks and geese. I shared that situation with Julie. She and her volunteers (us among them) cleaned out that park in one day, removing thirty-four emaciated ducks. Now, the director of the parks department for that county calls her when a duck gets dumped, which is ironic, because I had to threaten to file animal cruelty charges at the courthouse to facilitate the event. Julie is a tireless advocate, educator, and champion for dumped waterfowl. She has actually endangered her life doing rescues. We went on a rescue with her that involved an unhinged individual who did not want the ducks removed. We were afraid and sat in the car. Julie persevered. "I Won't Back Down" by the late, great Tom Petty ought to be her rescue's theme song. Nobody else does what she does. Conservatively, she is one in a million. The drop down below only allowed me to choose one role. We were clients served, then became volunteers and donors (and her biggest fans).

One of the best waterfowl rescues in the country! I own a sanctuary and can call waddle on inn and ask any question and they are helpful, friendly and solve any issue I have. Georgia should be very proud to have this amazing organization.

They helped me when nobody else would when Id found a goose with a large fish hook through the beak and tongue. I met her at her vets office and she allowed me to go in. The goose fully recovered. Waddle on Inn spares no expense

Waddle On Inn has been a much-needed savior for ducks, geese and other animals in dire need of help throughout Georgia. I've personally rescued birds who had no other place to go for urgent care. True lifesavers!!

I called waddle on inn after somebody threw out 47 ducks in our cities park. I hoped and prayed they could save a few as many clearly were suffering. Within the week Julie called me to inform me they would be out and told me what day. There were many helpers with her. By the end of that day they had safely caught all of them. I watched Julie remove embedded fishing line and fish hooks on a few. Visitors would ask questions and she would answer with grace and knowledge. Many upon learning the dangers offered assistance. Because of her compassion and the heart she showed, i became a monthly donor. I know to feed them and her vet expenses can be costly. Hope more people see how desperately this amazing organization is needed.

One of the best rescues hands down! They took in my duck after a racoon attack after everyone else told me to put it down. 4 months of care and my duck was fine. They came out and helped me predator proof my coop, i got my duck back and she didnt even ask for any money. They truly care about the well being of the animals.

Waddle On Inn is such a compassionate and dedicated rescue. They are so knowledgeable about waterfowl rescue that I've been able to ask advice long distance, and they can give just the right answer, sight unseen. That doesn't begin to describe their passion for boots-on-the-ground rescue. They truly love what they do, and it shows!

I messaged waddle on inn in a panic. No vets near me would see a duck and my boy was badly attacked. She had me call her after i sent photos and calmly talked me through what to do. She checked in on him and because of her he survived. I cant thank her enough

I am a foster and a volunteer for Waddle On Inn rescue Inc. Julie goes above and beyond to save animals. She also educates on the dangers of "dumping" ducks, she stops and takes the time to talk to people asking questions during rescues.
She truly cares, it's not about recognition- there is so much that tye rescue does that no one hears about. My favorite thing and just an example of "above and beyond" julie will help people be able to keep their pets. Go to owners and help repair fencing, securing coops, provide food, medical care. I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to volunteer and foster for Waddle On Inn Rescue Inc.

This is one of my FAVORITE rescues! Where some rescues do it for glory, this rescue cares for the animals! If there’s a chance for a quality of life, Waddle On Inn does all they can to assure it!
