Programs: Vns provides intermittent skilled home health care. Under the direction of a primary care physician, medical and surgical nurses deliver patient assessments, medical treatments (such as infusion therapy, wound care and medication instruction), and disease management education. Vna also provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
vns provides an immunization program. Vns administered 16,564 flu shots throughout west michigan during the year.
vns provides a going home program. This program is set up for new mothers and babies who, with their doctor, decide to go home after the minimum stay in the hospital. The program provides personal one-on-one care from a registered nurse in the patient's home.
