Mission: We believe in a world where churches are the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities, ministering to orphans, widows and others infected and affected by HIV/AIDS
Geographic areas served: Malawi, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique,
Programs: Home-based care volunteers visit the homes of vulnerable people in their communities to bring help, comfort and basic needs on a regular basis, providing medical supplies, emergency food packages and transportation to clinics. The organization runs weekly community support groups for persons living with hiv and aids, educating them on nutrition and treatment and supporting through bible studies, prayer and counseling.
visionledd runs community centers in sub-saharan africa where they teach family life skills, small business training, and provide pre-school child care and food and nutrition services. Visionledd works with widows and helps them initiate income generating activities so they can support their families and give back to the community.
visionledd hosts community leaders, youth, and pastors' conferences where vision is cast for the care of orphans and widows. It identifies "champions" and through monthly meetings increases their capacity to effect community transformation.
